The Problem
Proper menstrual education is essential to the health and well-being of those who menstruate. However, the sources of knowledge provided to adolescents are limited. Furthermore, the stigma surrounding this topic has lead to a general lack of openness of discussion and research in this area. We hope that, through our research, we will be able to add to the current body of literature on sexual health and menstrual education, particularly in the United States.
